FAQ

Why learn to scuba privately with us?

We believe learning to dive should be easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. That’s why we offer a true concierge experience—with no hidden fees and everything included in your course from the start.

Private instruction means you're never just another face in a group. Your instructor focuses entirely on you—your pace, your comfort, and your growth. Need extra time in the pool before heading to the ocean? No problem. We’ll schedule an additional session to make sure you feel fully confident in your gear and skills.

Our goal is to make your certification journey smooth, personalized, and fun—every step of the way.

What happens during each day of my course?

Your course begins with a private pool session, where you’ll learn to assemble your scuba gear and complete all of your confined water training. You’ll already be familiar with the skills thanks to the eLearning course, which you’ll complete at your own pace before the pool session.

After training, your instructor will take care of your gear—no need to haul around heavy, wet equipment or worry about refilling tanks. We'll coordinate with you to schedule your ocean dives. If choosing the private boat option, you’re welcome to bring a friend along for the boat ride—they can sunbathe, swim, or snorkel while you’re diving.

We’re happy to accommodate special requests and aim to make every step of your certification as comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable as possible.

What kind of diving can I do after I’m certified?

Once you complete your course, you’ll receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is recognized worldwide.

This certification allows you to:
     - Rent scuba gear from dive shops
      - Dive with a certified buddy
      - Explore depths of up to 60 feet
         ....anywhere in the world!

With your certification, you’ll be ready to dive in tropical reefs, local kelp forests, and everything in between—wherever your adventures take you.
